Barry Dale Cantrell

Barry Dale Cantrell, age 72, of Cornelia, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.

Born on September 16, 1953, at The Charm House in Clarkesville, he was a son of Lucille Page Cantrell Rodacker and the late Floyd Cantrell. Dale was employed with Austin Powder Company as an explosive technician. In his spare time, he enjoyed being outdoors hunting, fishing or woodworking. He was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Roy James Cantrell; and grandparents, Clark and Lizzie Kimbrell Page.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Pamela Thomas Cantrell; sons and daughter-in-law, Damon Brandt Cantrell (Kay) and Brian Farrell Cantrell; grandchildren, Jesse William Cantrell and Sharli Isabella Cantrell; brother, Fred Cantrell; sister, Shelby Jean Baker; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Dale's wishes were to be cremated and that no formal service be held.
