Courtesy Announcement - Morgan Grace Daniel

July 14, 2003 — November 15, 2025

Winder

Morgan Grace Daniel, age 22, went home to be in the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ, on November 15, 2025. Though her family is devastated by her earthly absence, they take comfort in knowing that she heard the Lord say, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Morgan’s life was a beautiful reflection of Jesus—compassionate, joyful, humble, and full of love. While she will be forever missed, her family rejoices knowing she is safely home with Christ and looks forward to the promise of spending eternity together again. She loved the Lord and lived her life following what God teaches: loving Him with all her heart, soul, and mind, and loving others as herself. Her deepest desire was for people to place their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, receiving His grace and His free gift of eternal life so that they too may one day live with her in heaven for all eternity.

Most recently, Morgan was a student at the University of North Georgia. After her passing, it was learned that she had earned a 4.0 cumulative GPA for her entire college career and had successfully completed all requirements for her Associate of Science degree with a concentration in Biology. She will be formally recognized with a posthumous degree as part of the upcoming graduation ceremony. Her plans were to become a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant.

Morgan was very musically talented and sang with the Georgia Children’s Chorus for over 10 years, where she formed deep relationships with her fellow chorus members and leaders. She also formed special bonds at Bethlehem Christian Academy with her volleyball teammates, coaches, and teachers. An active member of Bethlehem Church, Morgan enjoyed worshipping there and loved taking detailed notes on sermons. She also made many meaningful friendships with her coworkers at Starbucks and fellow students at the University of North Georgia.

Morgan loved traveling, the beach, butterflies, and adventure. She treasured her family deeply—her sister, Madelynn Daniel, was her best friend, and she adored Madelynn’s fiancé, Ricky Menendez, and deeply cherished her beloved boyfriend, Alan Ramirez. Morgan was both a “Daddy’s Girl” and a “Momma’s Girl” in every way. She also had a special bond with her aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents.

She is survived by her parents, Jeff and Tena Daniel; her sister, Madelynn Daniel; her grandparents, Jim and Queen Daniel; her aunts and uncles, Johnathon and Mandy Daniel, Wes and Tara Berry, and Alan and Tammy Albright; her sister’s fiancé, Ricky Menendez; her beloved boyfriend, Alan Ramirez; her great-godparents, Hugh and Carole Odum; and her seven precious cousins, Addison Albright, Braden Albright, Silas Daniel, Eden Daniel, Abel Daniel, Joah Daniel, and Fisher Daniel. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Donald and Peggy DeVore, and her beloved Maltese dog, Phoebe, who had been by her side all her life.

A Visitation for family and friends will be held at Smith Funeral Home, 755 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, on Sunday, November 23, 2025 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Following the Visitation there will be a Funeral Service at 1:00 pm in Smith Memory Chapel.
