EZRA WILEY, age 75 of Cornelia, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, August 07, 2018.
Born in Hall County, Georgia on June 10, 1943, he was a son the late E.J. Wiley & Evie Savage Wiley. Mr. Wiley was a retired truck driver with Fieldale Farms Corporation with over 45 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, collecting hats, but most of all, Sunday dinners with family.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Wiley was preceded in death by his step-daughter & son-in-law, Janie & Danny Phillips, and a brother, Lindsay Wiley.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce McEntire Wiley of Alto, GA; son & daughter-in-law, Cody & Ashley Wiley of Clermont, GA; step-son, Jimmy Dill of Baldwin, GA; stepdaughter, Jenny Povolny of Cornelia, GA; stepdaughter & son-in-law, Glenda & Jeff Roper of Hartwell, GA; sisters, Mamie Cagle of Gainesville, GA; Betty Hood of Winder, GA; multiple grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, & friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 10, 2018 from the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Wade & Rev. Sanford Kimbrell officiating. Interment will follow in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
