Freddy Elijah Nicholson

Freddy Elijah Nicholson, age 70 of Demorest, Georgia, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 21, 2025.

Born in Toccoa, Georgia on August 5, 1955, he was a son of the late Clyde Andrew and Callie Wall Nicholson.

Freddy retired after more than 40 years with LP Gas Service Company. In his spare time, he was a true car enthusiast who enjoyed working on cars and restoring them. Freddy loved telling jokes and making others laugh. Most importantly, he loved his family and cherished every moment spent with them.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Herman Nicholson.

Survivors include his children, Maya Michelle Sullens (Jamie), Tim Nicholson (Anita Renea), and Crystal Darlene Camp; brother, Henry Nicholson (Molly); sisters, Joyce Burton (David) and Retha Nicholson; nine grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A Celebration of Freddy’s Life will be held at a later date.
