Geralene Tomlin Hicks, age 94 of Cleveland, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021.
Born in Cleveland, Georgia on April 27, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Hoke Tomlin and Cora Lee Bowen Tomlin. Mrs. Hicks was a retired Poultry Farmer and a member of Good News Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hicks was also preceded in death by her husband of 74 years, Charlie Price Hicks; brother, Lloyd Tomlin; sister, Sylvia Ann Chastain.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Mitcheal and Sandra Hicks of Cleveland; grandchildren, Allyson Jones (Steve), Brandon Hicks, and Heath Hicks all of Cleveland, and Jared Hicks (Bea) of Dawsonville; great grandchildren, Emilee Jones and Chase Hicks; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 am, Friday, September 17, 2021 in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Rev. Austin Kelley officiating. Interment will follow in Good News Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
