Gloria James

Hephzibah, GA. - Ms. Gloria Anderson James, daughter of the late Clarence Sr., and
Dorothy Dorsey Anderson, entered into rest on Monday, February 3, 2014, at her
residence.
Gloria was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church of Cornelia, Ga. and later
joined Friendship Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Marion Williams.
She was employed by the Department of Corrections as a Teacher and Education
Supervisor. Gloria was also an Educator for Meadowbrook Elementary and Copeland
Elementary.
Those left to cherish her memories are: a devoted daughter, Angela R. Taylor; a devoted
son, Alton R. Taylor; four grandchildren; brothers, Clarence (Helen) Anderson; Reverend
Oliver (Naomi) Dorsey, Kenneth (Tasha) Anderson, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins
other relatives and loving friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, February 8, 2014, at Shady Grove Baptist
Church, 226 Martin Luther King Blvd., Cornelia, GA., with Reverend Marion Williams,
officiating. Interment will follow in Level Grove Cemetery, Cornelia, GA.
The family will receive friends today (Friday) from 5 to 7 pm at Kinsey & Walton Funeral
