GRACE COVERT SIMONS, age 90 of Murphy, North Carolina, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at her residence.
Born in Ingleside, New York on November 8, 1923, she was a daughter of the late George and Sarah Drake Covert. Mrs. Simons was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Clarkesville and was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin F Simons.
Survivors include daughter, Phyllis Janosko of Murphy, NC; son, Ray Stewart Simons of Walkers Town, NC; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
