Harmon Armour, age 92, of Lula, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014 in Cleveland, GA.
Born in Hall County on February 6, 1922, he was a son of the late Hancil and Beulah Leach Armour. Mr. Armour was a farmer, logger and he attended Holly Springs Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Armour was also preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Wiley Armour; brothers, Charles and Claude Armour; sisters, Corrina Hunnicutt, Ruth Cash and Gladys Worley.
Survivors include brothers, R. B. Armour and Woodrow Armour of Lula; sisters, Susie Bruce of Lula, Katie Mote of Homer and Christine Alexander of Commerce; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Nelson and Christine Wiley and Alma Wiley of Lula.
Funeral services are 3:00 pm Monday, March 17, 2014 at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Rev. David Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Lula.
The family will receive friends from 3-6 pm on Sunday at the funeral home.
