Born September 30, 1924, Symes served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and retired from the U.S. Air Force.
A visitation will be held from 1-5 pm on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home.
Interment will be Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah, Georgia.
A memorial service and detailed obituary are planned for January 2024.
