Holly Neeson Wall died April 9th. 2026 peacefully at New Horizons Limestone nursing home, Gainesville, GA after a long illness of Parkinson’s Dementia.
She was born on December 22,1937 in Atlanta, GA. to Barbara Baker Neeson and Roland S. Neeson, Sr.
Holly was an Atlanta native having attended Spring Street School and North Fulton High School. She and David married in 1960 after she had graduated from Oglethorpe University and David had completed his military service. They were married for 65 years
Holly was an Artist, doll maker, writer and homemaker. In her junior year at Oglethorpe University, she was selected to be a guest writer for Mademoiselle magazine in New York city for that summer.
In 1982 Holly, David and children moved to Northeast Georgia. Holly continued her doll creations and worked at Clarkesville Library. Holly was often laughingly accused of being an “Bookaholic” as she was a prolific reader.
She was also a member and past Elder of Nacoochee Presbyterian Church in Sautee Nacoochee GA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Barbara Baker Neeson, Roland S. Neeson, Sr... brother Roland S. Neeson, Jr.
She is survived by her husband Sharpe David Wall, Jr., daughter: Wendy St Dennis (Donald), sons, Sharpe David Wall, III, Andrew Goodwyn Wall (Heather), Griggs Michael Wall (Susan) Grandsons, John Michael Wall (Gloria), Jacob St Denis.
Celebration of Life Service will be held at Nacoochee Presbyterian Church (in Sautee Nacoochee GA.) on Saturday April 25th at 2:00 PM Reception to follow service in the church fellowship hall.
In lieu of flowers, you may donate in her memory to the Parkinson’s Foundation5757 Waterford District Drive, Suite 310, Miami, FL 33126. Or a charity of your choice in memory of Holly.
