Jeff Kimbrell, age 57 of Mt. Airy, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018.
Born on September 27, 1960 in Atlanta, he was the son of the late Donald Kimbrell and Shirley Choate Kimbrell of Mt. Airy. Mr. Kimbrell was employed with Ethicon and was a United States Army veteran. He was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan who also enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles, being outdoors, hunting and fishing. Mr. Kimbrell also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by granddaughter, Eunice J. Lockhoff; grandparents, Masser and Lucy Kimbrell and Webster and Viola Choate; brother-in-law, Roy Lee Keller.
In addition to his mother, he is also survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Josh and Misty Kimbrell of Clarkesville and Jason and Brandi Kimbrell of Mt. Airy; daughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer and Dan Lockhoff of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Amanda and Kyle Freeman of Covington, Georgia and Kensie and Matt Sosebee of Cornelia; grandchildren, Baileigh Kimbrell, Noah Kimbrell, Madeline Garrison, Cole Kimbrell, Eli Kimbrell, Riley Kimbrell, Grayson Sosebee, Emmarie Kate Freeman and Waylon Sosebee; sister, Sue Keller of Mt. Airy; special friend, Shannon Roberts.
Memorial services are 4 pm on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Alto Baptist Church with Rev. Raymond Payne officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Sunday at the church.
