Linda Marie Miller Key

Linda Marie Miller Key, age 83, of Mount Airy, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 5, 2026.

Born on April 11, 1942, in Gainesville, Georgia, Linda was the beloved daughter of the late Thurmond and Ruby Gilbert Miller. Throughout her life, she was known for her strong spirit, love of the outdoors, and deep devotion to her family.

Linda found joy in simple pleasures and lively pursuits alike. She enjoyed gambling, dirt track racing, deer hunting, fishing, and spending time immersed in nature. Whether outdoors or at home, she lived life on her own terms and with a full heart. Above all else, Linda cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren, who were the center of her world and her greatest pride.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Hershel George Key, and her four brothers.

She is survived by her loving children, Sherry Cathey, Karen Lord, Danny Key, Monty Key, Anthony Key, Nancy Key, and Sheba Key; by 19 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; as well as other relatives and many friends who will miss her dearly.

Honoring her wishes, Linda will be cremated, and no formal services are planned.
