Lucas Caleb Brezeale, age 3, of Cornelia, Georgia, ran into the loving arms of Jesus on Saturday, July 25, 2026.

Born in Seneca, South Carolina on July 31, 2022, Lucas was the cherished son of Caleb Darren Brezeale and Karrie Lynn Roberts of Cornelia, Georgia. Though his time on this earth was far too brief, Lucas filled every day with love, joy, and courage that touched the hearts of everyone blessed to know him. His sweet smile, resilient spirit, and gentle nature will forever remain a treasured gift to his family and friends.

Lucas loved going on adventures and traveling with those he loved. He could often be found happily throwing a ball, playing with his beloved Hot Wheels, or watching his favorite movies and shows, including Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Coco, and Moana. Despite the physical challenges he faced, Lucas was a determined little fighter who inspired countless people with his strength and perseverance, proudly pushing himself along in his wheelchair whenever he could. Among his greatest companions was his faithful puppy, Blue, whose friendship brought him endless comfort and happiness.

Although his earthly journey was short, Lucas leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love, remarkable courage, and unwavering joy that will continue to inspire all who knew him. While his family grieves the unimaginable loss of their precious son, they find comfort in knowing that Lucas now walks, runs, and plays freely in the presence of his Savior.

He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandfather, Bill Roberts and maternal great-grandmother, Barbara Rider.

In addition to his loving parents, Lucas is survived by his maternal grandparents, Jonathan & Donna Lynn Roberts; paternal grandparents, Darren & Tami Brezeale; aunt, Ahmia Roberts; cousin, Zoan Lopez; maternal great-grandparents, Donald & Gail Seabolt and Luella Roberts; paternal great-grandparents, Jerry & Joan Brezeale and Brenda & Mike Jenkins; along with many other loving relatives and a host of friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 30, 2026, from the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & McEntire Funeral Home with Rev. Don Turner and Lucas' father, Caleb Brezeale, officiating. Interment will follow in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery in Dawsonville, Georgia.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour on Thursday.
