Marcus Gene Hulsey, age 65 of Demorest, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Born in June 24, 1950, he was a son of the late Marcus Hulsey, Jr. and Cordelia Howard Helton. Mr. Hulsey was retired from Yonah Lumber Company and was of the Baptist faith. In his spare, he enjoyed outdoors, yard work, and gardening.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Jill Hulsey; brother, Danny Hulsey; sister, Dorothy Jones.
Surviving are brother, Michael Hulsey of Cornelia; sister, Shirley Eller of Cleveland; sisters and brothers, Cathy & Fred Albrecht of Cleveland, Patsy & Tim Sutton of Clarkesville, and Beverly & Ricky Richardson of Cleveland.
Funeral services are 2:00 pm Saturday, May 21, 2016, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Pastor Mark Turner officiating. Interment will follow in Philippi Baptist Church cemetery, 4675 Cavenders Creek Road, Dahlonega, Georgia.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 pm on Friday.
