Mylessa “Bo” Jane Bennett Zimmerman, age 69, of Clarkesville, passed away on Monday, February 15, 2021.
Born on November 8, 1951, in Jacksonville, Florida, she was a daughter of the late Grady and Dessie Segars Bennett. She was a homemaker and attended Rock Springs Baptist Church. Above all, she was a loving mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry G. Zimmerman and sister, Jeri Orell.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Christy and Jim Brown of Clarkesville; grandchildren: Keylan Myers, Brooks Brown, and J. Brown; brother, Ricky “Bo Bo” Bennett of Cornelia; sisters, Phyllis Childs of Royston and Patricia Owens of Jacksonville, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
A private family graveside service will be held at Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Friday, February 19, 2021, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made “In Memory of Bo Zimmerman” c/o Habersham County Transit, 4306 Toccoa Highway, Clarkesville, Georgia 30523.
