Obituary

Nicholas Anthony “Nick” Allen, age 39 of San Bernardino, California and formerly of Clarkesville, Georgia, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 06, 2026. Born in Gainesville, Georgia on March 18, 1987, Nick was known for his larger-than-life personality and his big heart. He was his mama’s blue-eyed boy and always will be.

Nick was a hardworking man who spent the last several years living in California where he was employed with the Kohl’s Department Store Distribution Center. He truly loved his job, but even more than that, he loved the people he worked alongside each day. Nick had a way of making lasting friendships everywhere he went and never met a stranger. His kindness, laughter, and caring spirit left an impression on everyone who knew him.

Family meant everything to Nick. He cherished the time spent with those he loved and held close relationships with his family and friends throughout his life. Nick was of the Baptist Faith and found comfort in his belief in the Lord.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Vermon Banks; Aunt, Karen Banks; and cousins, Vanna Holloway & Jordan Banks.

Survivors include his mother & step-father, Denise Banks Williams (Roger); sister, Larissa Lester; grandmother, Ruth Erwin Banks; nieces, Luci & Quinnlee Lester; girlfriend, Vanessa Anguiano and her children, Adam, Jacklyn, & Eli; step-sister & spouse, Faith Eller (Jon); step-brothers & spouses, Jake Williams (Heather) and Joe Williams (Priscilla); Uncle, Doug Banks; Aunts & Uncles, Robbie Wade (Randall) and Sue Thomas (Jim); cousins, Jacob Banks, Josh Thomas (Alicia), & Bridget Wade; as well as other relatives and a host of friends who will miss him dearly.

Nick was cremated and no formal services are planned at this time.
