Peggy Anne Ayers, age 58 of Cornelia, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2016.
Born in Habersham County on March 19, 1957, she was a daughter of Theron and the late Mildred Pitts Ayers. Ms. Ayers was a member of Mt. Airy Baptist Church.
In addition to her father, she is survived by Bobby Ayers, Jimmy Ayers (DeAnn Downer), and Daniel “Coon” Ayers (Jennifer) all of Mt. Airy.
Funeral services are 3 pm Wednesday, January 13, 2016, in the Chapel of McGahee Griffin and Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Sanford Kimbrell and Ms. Jennie Banks officiating. Interment will follow in the Eastview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
