Randy Mark Taylor

Randy Mark Taylor age 64 of the Fairview Community, Demorest, Georgia passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Georgia. 

Born on August 2, 1961, in Demorest, Georgia, Randy was known for his hardworking nature and as a loving Dad and Papa to his family.

For many years, Randy devoted himself to his career at Taylor's Tree Service, where he was respected not only for his expertise but also for his commitment to his work. Randy lived a life that exemplified diligence and integrity, qualities that resonated deeply with everyone he encountered.

Randy was a of the Baptist Faith. His love for the Lord was a significant part of his life, guiding him through both challenges and joys.

He is survived by his daughters, Lori Norris, Glori Taylor, and Misty Gragg (BJ). Additionally, he leaves behind his brother and sister-in-law, Ricky and Dorothy Taylor, and his sister, Regina Frankum. Randy was also blessed with 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, with 3 more great-grandchildren on the way, alongside numerous nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.

Randy is now reunited in eternal peace with his parents, Kenneth Ray Taylor and Margie Marie York Taylor, as well as his companion of 18 years, Lavern Taylor. His legacy of love and hard work will be remembered by all who knew him, and his spirit will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.

Funeral services are scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Sunday, September 14, 2025 in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & McEntire Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Taylor & Rev. Dennis Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairfield Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday prior to the service.
