Regina Lynn Abernathy

Regina “Lynn” Abernathy, age 63, of Mount Airy, Georgia, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2026, following a brief illness.

Born on July 25, 1962, in Gastonia, North Carolina, Lynn was the beloved daughter of the late Kenneth Abernathy and the late Linda Carlan Abernathy. From the very beginning, she lived life with creativity, curiosity, and an unmistakable free spirit.

Lynn had a deep love for music, art, and, above all, her family. She was a woman of many talents—playing the guitar and piano, woodworking, creating art, and effortlessly bringing smiles and laughter to those around her. Her joy was contagious, her humor unforgettable, and her presence a gift to everyone who knew her.

She leaves behind her cherished daughters, Breezi and Stormi; her treasured grandchildren, Luke McEntire, Kate Costa, and Saylor Drumwright; her brother, Butch Abernathy; along with other loving relatives and many dear friends who will miss her deeply.
