Born in Philadelphia, PA on June 29, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Laura Peirot Bacon. Mrs. Strait was a member of Unity Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and cooking.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Edwin Strait; sons, Timothy Shawn Strait and Tony Vincent Strait; a brother and a sister.
Surviving are her sons, Andy Strait and Joe Strait both of Clarkesville; daughter, Laura Bearce of Lavallette, WV; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Memorial services are scheduled for 2 pm, Monday, April 10, 2017 at Unity Baptist Church.
