Shane Thomas Bray, age 22, of Mount Airy, Georgia, passed away on Friday, August 20, 2026. He was born on November 21, 2003, in Toccoa, Georgia.

Shane was a loving son, brother, grandson, and cherished member of his family. He had a special way of bringing joy to those around him and was known for his laughter and the happiness he shared with others. Above all, Shane treasured the time he spent with his family. Those who knew and loved him will forever remember his smile, his laughter, and the precious moments they shared together.

Shane is survived by his mother, Jessica Lynn Riggins Gaddis, and stepfather, Curtis Gaddis; his papa, Thomas Riggins; his sister, Dakota M. Sosebee; his uncle, Jonathon Thomas Riggins; his great-uncle, Bruce Elise Riggins Jr.; and his great-grandmother, Virginia Loudermilk Riggins.

He was preceded in death by his beloved sister, Keanna Virginia Riggins, and his great-grandfather, Bruce Elise Riggins Sr.

A private graveside service will be held at Glade Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday August 24, 2026, from Noon until 2:00pm.

Though Shane's time on this earth was far too short, the love he gave and the memories he created will remain in the hearts of his family and all who knew him. His laughter will be remembered, his presence deeply missed, and his memory lovingly carried on by those who were blessed to know him.
