Thelma Lee Davenport Crow, age 88 of Mt. Airy, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2014.
Born in Union County, Georgia on June 10, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Floyd Davenport and Vaughn Brown Davenport. Mrs. Crow was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Crow; first husband, Claude Kindall; son-in-law, Leroy Arrowood; sister, Addie Kate Rogers.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Frances & Melvin Tullis of Mt. Airy and Claudine & Ted Keller of Mt. Airy; daughter, Mary Lou Arrowood of Oakwood; sisters, Betty Leathers and Idell Good; grandchildren, Adam Tullis, Melissa Tullis, Pamela Green, Samantha Addis, Joann Ingles, Gary Lee Arrowood; great grandchildren, Andrew Mize, Jason Mize, Keller Green, Kadyn Green, Patricia Addis, Donnie Addis, Austin Tullis, and Zackary Tullis.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am Thursday, April 17, 2014, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Rev. Butch Franklin officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 pm Thursday at Confidence United Methodist Church Cemetery, 6750 Confidence Church Rd, Blairsville, GA 30512.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 pm on Wednesday.
