Tommy “Tom” Lewis Coleman, age 86, of Clarkesville, GA, passed away on July 1, 2026.

Mr. Coleman was born on November 15, 1939, in Memphis, Tennessee to the late J.C. and Sara Coleman. Tommy loved to play golf, flying, traveling but most of all spending time with his family. Mr. Coleman proudly served in the United States Air Force. Tom was of the Methodist faith.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, including his sister, Wanda Whitehead; a son, Philip Coleman; and a stepson, Gary Carroll.

Mr. Coleman is survived by his wife, Dana Coleman of Clarkesville; Daughter, Sarah McCall Coleman of Tiger; son, Jason Coleman of Roswell, Georgie; stepdaughter and spouse, Sherry and Chip Fields; grandchildren, Maddox, Laramie, Justin, Jack, Julia, Reid, Taylor, Marissa, McKenzie; sister, Vickie Pratt; several other relatives and friends survive Mr. Tom.

A visitation for Mr. Coleman will be held on July 9, 2026, from 6-8 P.M. at McGahee-Griffin and McEntire Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held on July 10, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and McEntire Funeral Home.
