VERA LYNCH MCDUFFIE, age 88 of Baldwin, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 14, 2017.
Born in Franklin County, Georgia on June 18, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Garnett Lynch & Lillie Smith Lynch. Mrs. McDuffie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a wonderful cook. She was a member of the Crossroads Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. McDuffie was preceded in death by her husband, Grady D. McDuffie, daughter, Kathy Still, son Steve McDuffie, 2 infant grandchildren, granddaughter, Shauna McDuffie, brothers, James Lynch, Coy Lynch, sisters, Bessie Pritchett, Mattie Lee Ayers, Magnolia Martin, & Helen Brady.
Survivors include her daughter & son-in-law, Linda & Michael Barrett of Cleveland, GA; son-in-law, Guy Still of Brunswick, GA; 10 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, & several great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 17, 2017 from the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Ho me with Mr. Micah Still officiating. Interment will follow in the Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
