Edward Hix, age 62 of Alto, passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2018.
Born in Habersham County, Georgia on August 20, 1956, he was the son of the late Paul and Betty Jean Wade Hix. Mr. Hix enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing horseshoes, watching sports and playing softball. He was of the Methodist faith.
Surviving are his son, Lee Hix of Cleveland; sisters, Sue Smith and Shirley Thomas both of Alto; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services are scheduled for 11 am at the Wade Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 am on Saturday at the funeral home.
