“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” — II Timothy 4:7 (KJV)
William Frank “Willie” Bramlett, age 73, of Homer, Georgia, entered into his Heavenly home on Friday, November 14, 2025. Born on Christmas Day, December 25, 1951, in Toccoa, Georgia, he was the son of Joan Simmons Bailey and the late J.C. Bramlett.
William retired from Duke Energy after 37 years of faithful and dedicated service. He was a member of Silver Shoals Baptist Church and a proud supporter of the Georgia Bulldogs. William enjoyed life outdoors—whether hunting, golfing, or fishing—and especially treasured time spent with his family. He loved cooking for others and hosting gatherings in his shop, where laughter, stories, and love were always shared.
He is survived by his devoted wife of years, Dolly Morris Bramlett; mother and stepfather, Joan Simmons Bailey (Steve); children, Todd Bramlett (Pam), Tonya Coffee (Sonny), and Wayne Wade (Tonya); grandchildren, McKinley Bramlett, Anslee Nation, Dylan Nation, Brianna Ruark, Brett Ruark, Paige Sutton, Layla Kittle, Corey Kittle, Cody Wade, and Lily Collins; great-grandchildren, Breelynn Wade, Willow Ruark, Woody Ruark, John Lee, Claire Lee, Ava Kittle, and Peyton Ruark; siblings, Vicki Foster, Terry Stockton, and Ricky Loudermilk; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.
Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m., Monday, November 17, 2025, at Level Grove Cemetery, with Rev. Terry Morris officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home prior to the service.
An online guest registry is available for those wishing to express condolences to the Bramlett family.
A very special thank you is extended to his daughter, Tonya, who was her daddy’s angel from the beginning of his illness and faithfully remained by his side until the end.
