Zeferino Zavala Contreras, age 87, of Cornelia, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2020.
Born on January 19, 1933, in San Andres, Guanajuato, Mexico, he was a son of the late Zeferino Zavala and Zenaida Contreras. Mr. Zavala Contreras was retired from Irvin Lumber Company and was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church. He was a very lovable person who loved his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include wife, Rita Ramirez Zavala of Cornelia; sons, Zeferino, Jr., Juan, Saul, Victor, Dennys, Brian, Marco, and Andres Zavala; daughters, Irma, Elda, Olga, Nancy and Melvia Zavala; 12 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; six brothers; and three sisters.
A private graveside service will be held at Level Grove Cemetery.
